Welcome to Chatbot UX! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.chatbotux.com) and the services offered therein. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions by accessing or using our website and services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using our website and services.

1. Definitions
(a) “Chatbot UX” refers to the England and Wales registered company providing chatbot-related courses, done-for-you chatbot/conversation design services and consultation.

(b) “Website” refers to www.chatbotux.com, owned and operated by Chatbot UX.

(c) “User” or “You” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using our website and services.

2. Use of the Website and Services
(a) You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your country to use our website and services.

(b) You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using our website and services.

(c) You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

(d) You agree not to use our website and services for any illegal, unauthorised, or improper purposes.

3. Intellectual Property
(a) All content and training provided on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, software, templates and downloads, is the exclusive property of Chatbot UX and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

(b) By enrolling in the course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course content for educational purposes. This license is extended to individual participants and businesses seeking to improve their knowledge and skills in building chatbots for commercial use.

(c) You and your business may use the knowledge gained from the course to develop and implement chatbots for commercial purposes. However, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use the course content for any other purpose without the prior written consent of Chatbot UX.

(d) You acknowledge that the course content is provided solely for educational purposes and does not constitute professional advice. Chatbot UX shall not be liable for any actions taken based on the information provided in the course.

(e) Any chatbot developed by you or your business based on the knowledge gained from the course is the sole responsibility of you and your business. Chatbot UX shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the use or implementation of chatbots developed using the course content.

(f) You agree not to disclose, share, or resell the course content or any materials provided by Chatbot UX to any third parties without explicit written permission.

(g) Chatbot UX retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the course content, and nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as transferring any ownership rights to you or your business.

(h) Any use of Chatbot UX’s trademarks, service marks, logos, or branding without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

(i) If you believe that any content infringes upon any copyright or intellectual property rights, please notify Chatbot UX promptly, and appropriate action will be taken.

(j) Chatbot UX respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If any user is found to be in violation of intellectual property rights, Chatbot UX may take appropriate action, including termination of access to the course and services.

4. Courses and Services
(a) Chatbot UX offers a course on building chatbots using a third-party platform. By enrolling in the course, you agree to abide by any additional terms and conditions specific to the course.

(b) The course content is intended for educational purposes only, and Chatbot UX does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results.

(c) Chatbot UX provides done-for-you chatbot services and consultation. The terms of engagement and deliverables will be outlined in a separate agreement or contract between Chatbot UX and the client.

5. Payments and Refunds
(a) Prices for courses and services are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.

(b) Payment for courses and services is required upfront, and Chatbot UX will not commence the provision of services or course access until payment is received in full.

(c) We offer a 30-day refund policy on our courses. If you decide your purchase was not right within 30 days of purchasing, request a refund by creating a support ticket in your account section.

(d) Lifetime Access refers to the course’s lifetime, not the purchaser’s or Chatbot UX’s lifetime. If a course is due to be discontinued, you will be given 3 months’ notice before termination, during which time you may download any materials available. The content of discontinued courses remains covered by the usage and copyright agreements detailed above.  

(d) There are no refunds for done-for-you services or consultancy.

6. Third-Party Platforms and Software

(a) Our courses may involve the use of third-party platforms or software. You will be responsible for creating and paying for your own accounts and are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of those platforms. It is recommended that you conduct your own research before purchasing any 3rd party product or service.

(b)At times, Chatbot UX may be compensated by such companies by receiving an affiliate commission from purchases or subscriptions made by you on the affiliate website link.

(c) Chatbot UX is not responsible for any issues, damages, or losses arising from your use of third-party platforms or software.

(d) Chatbot UX is not officially endorsed by Facebook or ManyChat. Facebook and ManyChat brands and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Chatbot UX is not in control of or liable for any changes to the function, access, practices or policies of either Facebook or Manychat, or of any other recommended product or service.

7. Limitation of Liability
(a) Chatbot UX shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, courses or services.

(b) In no event shall Chatbot UX’s total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you for the course or service in question.

8. Privacy Policy
Your use of our website and services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website.

9. Reforrestration Transparency Pledge
Chatbot UX will plant one tree for every course/workshop enrollment in partnership with One Tree Planted. This is done in an effort to create a business that gives back to nature and upholds values that align with our customers. We make these donations monthly and update our published stats after we make the donation.

10. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Chatbot UX reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website and services after any modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
